Walk-In Tutoring — The Office of Academic Technology provides free tutoring to all University of Florida students without the need for an appointment through Walk-In Tutoring.
Free tutoring for a variety of courses is available on a "drop-in" basis at the Teaching Center in SW Broward Hall. Students should check the schedule to determine when tutors are available for the subject with which they need assistance. Click here for Walk-In Tutoring.
The Reading and Writing Center provides individual instruction that will help all UF students improve their reading and writing skills. A free walk-in clinic is open daily to provide guidance on papers. The clinic is not a proofreading service; rather, Reading and Writing Center instructors confer with students about the strengths and weaknesses of individual papers. They can also take advantage of a wide variety of written material and software to prepare for the CLAST Reading, Essay, and Language Skills test, as well as the GRE, the LSAT, and the MCAT.
